Jeffrey Hackett

Corporate Controller

Jeffrey Hackett, Corporate Controller, graduated from the University of Pittsburgh. As a 25 year veteran of the hotel industry he is experienced in management and accounting of de-centralized and centralized accounting environments. He began his career as an intern with Vista International.

Jeff has established accounting policies and procedures for several opening hotels as well as previously operating hotels. Additionally, he has experience in standardizing accounting policies and practices as well as compliance with Sarbanes Oxley regulations. He has developed and implemented hotel internal audit programs to ensure proper financial and operation reporting. Throughout his career he has demonstrated the capacity for building efficiencies within the accounting departments, as well as advancing individuals in this discipline.

During his Career, Mr. Hackett has served:

• • Gateway Hospitality Group — Area Controller and responsible for the financial activity of 10 properties with 1,400 rooms and a $65M annual operating budget
• • Suburban Lodging Corporation - Regional Controller with oversight of two hotels with annual revenue of $14M
• • Vista International - 700-room property located in Pittsburgh - was promoted to several positions during his 10 years
